The Great Cowra Bunny Hunt

The Great Cowra Bunny Hunt

Looking for a fun, easy way to explore Cowra over the Easter school holidays? The Great Cowra Bunny Hunt takes place throughout April, making town a little hoppier than usual!

Hidden bunnies pop up all across Cowra. You’ll find them in shop windows, tucked into parks, and scattered through some of our favourite local spots—from the rose garden to the adventure playground and beyond.

Some are easy to spot. Others are a little more sneaky. All part of the fun.

How it works

Grab a bunny hunt clue sheet from the Cowra Visitor Information Centre or download it online; wander through town solving the clues to find the bunnies.

There’s no set path, no time limit, and no pressure, just a great excuse to get out, explore, and enjoy Cowra a little differently.

Once you’ve found 20 or more bunnies, drop your completed clue sheet into the Visitor Information Centre and collect your certificate and your Bunny Hunter reward!

What to expect

  • Bunnies hidden across town—not just in shops
  • New surprises and last-minute bunny appearances throughout the month
  • Plenty of opportunities to discover local businesses along the way
  • A simple, accessible activity for families and visitors alike

Why was it created?

The Great Cowra Bunny Hunt is all about supporting local businesses and creating a fun, low-cost activity for visitors and the local community during the school holidays.

The more you explore, the more you’ll discover, and the more you’ll get out of it.
