Home to the famous Hologram Theatre, the Cowra Visitor Information Centre is an essential first stop for visitors to the Cowra region and is open daily from 8:30am – 5pm on weekdays and from 8:30am – 3:30pm on weekends (Closed Good Friday and Christmas Day).

The Cowra Visitor Information Centre is an essential first stop for visitors exploring the Cowra region, offering expert local advice, maps, itineraries and insider tips to help you make the most of your stay. The Centre is home to ‘Clare’, the famous hologram experience that shares a personal account of the Cowra Breakout, bringing one of Australia’s most remarkable wartime stories to life.
Discover a showcase of the region’s finest local produce, including olive oils, flavoured vinegars, jams, relishes, honey, nuts, figs and spice mixes, alongside a carefully selected range of books covering local history, the Wiradjuri people and the Cowra Breakout.
Regular wine and product tastings provide visitors with the opportunity to sample some of the region’s best flavours, meet local producers and take home a taste of Cowra.
Whether you’re planning your visit, searching for the perfect local gift, or looking to uncover the stories that make Cowra unique, the Visitor Information Centre is a destination in its own right.
The hologram is a free theatre and continues to be as popular as ever, with the 60,000 visitors our friendly team welcomes each year.
