We’ve teaming up with local businesses Ideal Tours, Fly Oz and Balloon Joy Flights, to offer you four unforgettable experiences this Canola Season. View our magnificent Fields of Gold up close or from the sky!
FIELDS OF GOLD TOURS
Experience Cowra’s stunning Fields of Gold with a fabulous 2 hour guided tour of Cowra’s Canola Region.
Your tour includes:
⭐A professionally guided tour departing from the Cowra Visitor Information Centre
⭐Visit to canola ‘hot spots’ for unique photo opportunities
⭐An information booklet detailing the lifecycle of Canola
⭐A historical town tour
Tours will run Saturdays and Sundays from August through to October (subject to crop availability).
Private tours are available throughout the week for 4 or more people.
All children are required to have their own ticket. Children and infants are not permitted to sit on laps for the duration of the tour. Please note that there are no car seats on board the bus.
SUNSET CANOLA TOURS
Experience Cowra’s Fields of Gold with this unique sunset tour!
A 1.5 hour guided tour of the canola fields includes:
⭐A professionally guided tour departing from Cowra Visitor Centre
⭐Visit to canola ‘hot spots’ for unique photo opportunities
⭐1 Glass of Antonio’s Prosecco per adult (18+)
Tours will run Saturdays and Sundays (subject to crop availability).
Private tours are available throughout the week for 4 or more people.

CANOLA BALLOON FLIGHTS

Life is fleeting and magical experiences are a must, so why not book yourself in for the experience of a life time with a Hot Air Balloon ride from Balloon Joy Flights?
Experience this magic and tranquility of an airborne adventure with Graham, Jan and Anton over the picturesque Belubula Valley in nearby Canowindra.
Operating for 35 years, Balloon Joy Flights are the region’s most experienced and trusted balloon flight operators, with their balloons able to hold from as little as 3 to 16 passengers.
All flights are weather dependent.
SCENIC CANOLA FLIGHTS
Experience Cowra’s Fields of Gold from the sky! Take a scenic flight with Fly Oz enjoy the picturesque birds eye views our countryside has to offer. Flights also include the spectacular sights of Wyangala Dam, Canowindra and further afield.
Flight options include:
⭐️ 30 minutes – $195
⭐️ 45 minutes – $296
⭐️ 60 minutes – $385
Multiple planes are available for larger groups. Flights are available at any time during the day.
Each price is per flight not passenger and each flight can take 3 passengers to a maximum of 200kg.

TWILIGHT DINNER IN THE CANOLA
Looking to truly immerse yourself in our Fields of Gold? Look no further than this fabulous twilight dinner in the canola at Glencara – Home of the Rustic Maze!
Working in collaboration with other notable Hilltop’s businesses, the team at Glencara invite you to join them for what is set to be a fabulous evening of delectable food; wonderful wines and brilliant beer. Gather group of friends and enjoy the atmosphere of the gorgeous farm and rustic 1890’s shearing shed where you will be offered a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and canapes on arrival.
Make sure to bring your dancing shoes!
