Winter Wanderlust Escape Competition – Terms & Conditions
Promoter
The promoter is Cowra Tourism Corporation trading as Visit Cowra.
Competition Period
The competition opens upon publication of the promotional post and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 11th June 2026
Eligibility
- Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over.
- Employees, directors and immediate family members of the Promoter and prize partners are not eligible to enter.
How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
- Like the competition post;
- Follow @visitcowra; and
- Tag another person in the comments of the competition post.
Each unique tag of a different person constitutes one entry. Unlimited entries are permitted. Self-tagging, fake accounts or duplicate tagging of the same person will be deemed invalid.
Prize Details
One (1) winner will receive:
- Boutique accommodation for two at The Shearing Shed.
- A 6-course degustation dinner for two at Oak on Kendal on 17 July 2026;
- Two tickets to the Cowra & Australian Single Vineyard Wine Show on 18 July 2026;
- An exclusive grazing picnic at the Cowra Japanese Garden;
- A regional wine tasting selection box from the Cowra Visitor Information Centre;
Total prize value is approximately AUD $1,200
Prize Conditions
- The prize must be redeemed on the dates specified and cannot be transferred to alternative dates.
- Any additional expenses, including travel costs (meals not specified, personal spending and insurance) are the responsibility of the winner.
- The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
- If any prize component becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or similar value only if it is reasonable and available to do so.
Winner Selection
- One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
- The draw will take place on 11th June 2026.
- The winner will be notified via direct message and announced on the Visit Cowra social media channels following notification to the winner.
- If the winner cannot be contacted within three (3) days, or does not claim the prize, a redraw may occur.
Privacy
By entering, participants agree that their name may be published by the Promoter for the purpose of announcing the winner. Personal information will only be used for administering the competition.
Social Media Disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. By participating, entrants release Facebook and Instagram from any responsibility relating to the competition.
General
The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
